Visiting archaeological site may require good physical conditions and access to people with reduced mobility is not always possible. During visits and stops, the buses will be locked and under the supervision of the driver. Hence, if you wish, you can leave some personal belongings in the bus yet at your own responsibility. If not done at subscription, inform your tour guide as soon as you get on the coach about your specific food requirements so that the restaurant booked for lunch can be informed accordingly in due time.
Full Day : Santorini and Wine TastingVisit the major sights of Santorini and be introduced to the winemaking, in one day. This half day tour of Santorini starts from the place of your choice and during the day you will visit some of the best sights the island has to offer and taste the major wine styles of the island.
After meeting up with your guide, the trip starts with a visit to the vineyards. Santorini has a long tradition in the winemaking and it is renowned for its outstanding crisp dry white wines and the elegant sweet dessert wines, the Vinsanto. You will visit a traditional winery of Santorini for a wine-tasting and you will be introduced to the major local wine appellations.
After the stop in the traditional winery we will head north, to the other side of the island and discover Oia, the village of the sailors. What you should expect here is a short walking tour to admire the white washed houses and of course to gaze at some of the best views this world can offer!
Free Leisure time for shopping, refreshments and the chance to experience one of the world’s best sunsets ever. On the way back to Fira we will make a short stop for photos in the artistic Firostefani, to capture the famous big white church which is part of every Santorini postcard! Then, after a short stroll in the picturesque alleys of Fira, you will be enjoy an amazing cable car ride to the old Port of Fira that will lead you to the small tender boats and eventually back to your ship, with unforgettable memories from your visit in Santorini.
